Formerly Gargellen was just a summer settlement of the Montafon farmers.
Today it is a popular holiday village with 100 inhabitants and offers peace and
relaxation. Gargellen is situated at the end of a valley in Montafon, 20 km south
of Bludenz, with no transit traffic. Main line station: Bludenz.P.
