Ried is a small, charming, relaxation resul with lots of history in the heart
of the holiday region of Tirol Oberland. The holiday region consists of 5 idyllic
towns offering guests great hospitality as well as many sporting opportunities,
events and children's programmes. Reid is an ideal starting point for trips to
neighbouring towns such as Fiss-Serfaus (5-8 km), Kauner Valley glacier (30 km) or
to the many other high mountain resorts in West Austria. Destination: Landeck (18 km).
Cableway to the skiing paradise of Fendel (14 km of pistes, 6 drag lifts, ski school,
children's ski area, night-skiing, 5 km of toboggan runs), 12 km of cross country tracks,
Bavarian curling. Ried is the starting point to an endless number of ski areas: 340 km of
pistesand 80 drag lifts over 34 km. Ried lies between 6 ski regions: 1 ski pass and free
ski bus can be used for all areas (Nauders, Fiss-Ladis-Serfaus, Venet, Fendels, Kaun Valley
glacier).
Ried bathing lake, mountain biking and hiking routes, tennis, rafting from Tosens (7 km),
leisure pool in Prutz (1 km), summer skiing in the Kaun Valley glacier (30 km), many other
sporting activities in the Tirol Oberland region. Guests can use the "Summer Card" to their
advantage in certain places.
